VAC-7S Abrasive Recovery System is an electrically operated vacuum blast media recovery system specially designed for use with mineral blasting abrasives, which tend to cause higher levels of dust generation. The VAC-7S abrasive recovery system is equipped with an extra powerful side channel blower, an integrated powerful cartridge filter with pulse-jet cleaning, a stand-alone dust pre-separator SC-500 with manual emptying, an abrasive storage tank with a highly effective cascade cleaner for automatic refilling of the blast pot (mounted directly on the Contracor Z-200 series blast pot), floor hopper, suction hoses.

Application

The VAC-7S Abrasive Recovery System is specifically designed to recycle reusable mineral abrasive media for reprocessing and reuse. The abrasive media is sucked in by the vacuum suction system via a stand-alone dust pre-separator SC-500 and the abrasive media suitable for reuse is separated from the unusable medium. The reusable abrasive media is now sucked into the abrasive storage tank via a cascade cleaner, where it is separated from dust and dirt. The Abrasive storage tank sits directly above the blast pot, into which the cleaned, recycled blast media falls and can be used again immediately. With a continuous reuse of recycled abrasive media, economical working is ensured, with the system enabling the recovery of up to 5 tons of mineral blasting abrasive per hour at a distance of up to 20 metres. Despite its high performance, it is a compact system which, due to its small size, offers a very high level of flexibility and is ideal for applications with limited space. An optional hand-held suction tube with support wheels and handle allows flexible use in areas of the blast room that are difficult to access.
