VAC-5 abrasive recovery system is an electrically operated vacuum suction system with an integrated high-performance cartridge filter with pulse-jet cleaning, an abrasive storage tank for automatic refilling of the blast pot (mounted directly on the Contracor Z-200 series blast pot), floor hopper, suction hoses.
Application
The VAC-5 blast media recovery system is specially designed for the recirculation of used blast media so that it can be processed and reused. The used blasting media is sucked in by the vacuum suction system via an abrasive storage tank, where it is separated from the dust by an air flow and also cleaned. The abrasive storage tank sits directly above the blast pot, into which the cleaned blast media falls and can be used again immediately. With a continuous re-use of recycled blast media, economical operation is ensured, with the system enabling a recovery of up to 4 tons per hour over a distance of up to 10 metres. Despite its high performance, it is a compact system which, due to its small size, offers a very high level of flexibility and is ideal for applications with limited space.
